This year the Chamber is very excited to announce that Doug Dvorak, humorous and motivational speaker, will being joining us. Doug's unique presentation topics encourage and empower individuals to excel on a personal level which in turn equates into more efficient business and professional success. He helps many audiences see the empowerment that they have in their job, no matter what it may be. Doug is publicly known as one of the funniest professional speakers in America.

2011 Office Professional of the Year is Virginia Ann Davis of Eaton who recently celebrated 32 years with the company.
The Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce celebrated office professionals in the community at the 2011 Office Professionals Luncheonat the American Legion, Thursday April 28. This year's event was sold out with 200 individuals coming together to celebrate excellence in the workplace. The event was a great mid afternoon break with a catered luncheon by Lincoln Land Catering, Pat and Roger Bay and the Slightly Off Success Principals of professional speaker Deb DiSandro. Deb shared with the audience and demonstrated how letting go of the super syndrome and embracing a more fun and realistic approach to everyday challenges resulting in greater productivity, creativity and confidence. The chamber would like to thank the State Bank of Lincoln, Deron Powell-State Farm, and Graue Inc. for their generous speaker sponsorship.
At the Office Professional Luncheon the Office Professional of the Year nominees were recognized and the 2011 winner was announced. The nominees were Marilyn Armbrust (retired Regions), Pam Baker (Ag Land FS), Vicky Bell (Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital), Joann Coers (Odd Fellows Grand Lodge), Krystal Diebert (Christian Homes), Sharon Sheehan-Fak (Dr James Wilmert DDS), Jenni Humphres (Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital), Bunny Laymon (Lincoln Chrysler Dodge Jeep), and Fran Petersen (Stuart Solutions). The 2011 Office Professional of the Year Award was sponsored by Eaton Corporation. This award was given to anindividual who does outstanding work, is dedicated to his/her job, gives 110%,and is always going that extra mile. This award was made possible due Eaton's generous sponsorship.
The Chamber would like to thank all of those who attended the 2011 Office Professional Luncheon along with the Hampton Inn for providing accommodations for the speaker and Action Rental & Sales, Bank of Chestnut, Chris Coyne-State Farm, and Sam Sorrento's for their sponsorship of event tables.
