Lincoln Christmas Parade

The annual Downtown Lincoln Christmas Parade will be held in historic Downtown Lincoln on Thursday, December 7, 2017. Line-up will begin at 5:30pm and the parade will begin at 6:30pm sharp.  The theme for this year’s parade has not be chosen yet.

The evening parade will feature marching bands, lighted floats, decorated vehicles, antique cars, and tractors. There is no charge to enter and cash prizes will be awarded.

Parade Start Time: 6:30pm

Parade Rules & Regulations:

Only registered entries will be allowed to participate in the 2017 Lincoln Christmas Parade.  The entry deadline is November 10, 2017.  No Santa is allowed on any entry.  Santa will be in the last parade entry only.  All entries must be decorated in a Christmas theme & amp; comply with these parade rules and regulations.  For safety purposes, all entries will be required to have lights this year. No candy may be thrown from vehicles; walkers alongside may hand or toss candy to the children. Drivers of all entries must have a valid driver’s license. No entry may halt the parade (only exception being the marching bands). The Parade Committee reserves the right to reject any and all entries for any reason before and during the parade.  No inappropriate actions or displays will be tolerated. All entries must be in line no later than 6:00 p.m. sharp.
